Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost & Botwinick, PC Expands Key Practice Areas with Three New Associates

Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost & Botwinick, PC, is pleased to announce that Alma A. Godinez, Angelica M. Mercado and T. Matthew Wolfe II have joined the firm as associates.

“We are pleased to welcome these three exceptional young professionals to the firm and we know that their experience in several of our key practice areas will enhance our ability to serve our clients,” said Patricia M. Barbarito, Co-Managing Partner of Einhorn Barbarito.

Godinez joins the firm’s Accidents/Personal Injury practice group, and previously served as a law clerk for the Honorable Yolanda Adrianzen, J.S.C.  in the Passaic Vicinage in the New Jersey Superior Court. She works on personal injury matters including accidents, medical malpractice, and products liability. Godinez earned her J.D. from Rutgers Law School where she served as a program coordinator for the Rutgers Child Advocacy Clinic and was an inaugural fellow for the Center for Immigration Law, Policy and Justice at the law school. “I welcome Alma to our team, which provides personal attention and counsel to clients who are trying their best to manage the stress, financial worries and medical demands of an injury.” said Christopher L. Musmanno, Chair of the firm’s Accidents/Personal Injury Practice.

Mercado is a member of Einhorn Barbarito’s Family/Matrimonial Law practice and previously served as a law clerk for the Honorable John P. McDonald and the Honorable John W. Romankow in the New Jersey Supreme Court’s Family Part in Somerset County.  She has experience drafting orders regarding motions and emergent applications in matrimonial and non-dissolution matters and preparing for divorce trials and plenary hearings. While earning her J.D. from the Seton Hall University School of Law, she also completed her master’s degree in diplomacy and international relations and has worked with multiple immigration nonprofits and public interest initiatives as a Center for Social Justice Scholar. Mercado is a member of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey and is fluent in Spanish. “We are very excited to have Angelica join the team. Her experience in the Somerset Family Part clerking for two wonderful judges will benefit both the firm and our clients,” said Matheu D. Nunn, co-chair of the firm’s Family/Matrimonial Practice and its general Appellate Practice.

Wolfe joins the firm’s Wills, Trusts & Estates and Taxation practice groups where he provides strategic counsel to businesses and individuals on taxation, trust and estate planning, elder law, family wealth transfer and preservation planning, charitable giving, retirement distribution planning, and trust and estate administration. Wolfe earned his LL.M. (Masters in Law) from Boston University School of Law and his J.D. from the Concordia University School of Law and previously worked for an estate planning law firm in Boise, Idaho. He interned for the United States Attorney’s Office, District of Idaho and for the 4th Judicial District in Boise. Wolfe is a veteran of the Army National Guard and served as an intelligence analyst for 10 years. “We welcome Matt’s broad knowledge and diverse experience, and we are confident that he will further our efforts to provide well-reasoned and creative advice regarding our clients’ personal and business matters,” said Gary R.
